The House respectfully informs your Honorable Body that the Report of the Committee of Free Conference having been adopted by both Houses, and this Bill having been read three times in each House, it was ordered that the title thereof be changed to that of an Act and that it be enrolled for Ratification:

H. 4230--SENATE INSISTS ON THEIR AMENDMENTS

On motion of Senator LEATHERMAN, the Senate insisted upon its amendments to H. 4230 and asked for a Committee of Conference.

CONFERENCE COMMITTEE APPOINTED

Whereupon, Senators LEATHERMAN, SETZLER and PEELER were appointed to the Committee of Conference on the part of the Senate and a message was sent to the House accordingly.

MOTION ADOPTED

On motion of Senator McELVEEN, with unanimous consent, the Senate stood adjourned out of respect to the memory of Mrs. Dorothy Ford of Sumter, S.C. Mrs. Ford was employed for 28 years by Sumter County School District and was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Dorothy was a loving wife, devoted mother and doting grandmother who will be dearly missed.

ADJOURNMENT

At 11:07 A.M., on motion of Senator LEATHERMAN, the Senate adjourned pursuant to the provisions of H. 4274, the Sine Die Resolution.
