Whereas, a true Renaissance man, Mr. Straight had diverse interests ranging from Shakespeare to motorcycles. He was a licensed amateur radio operator, great storyteller, and amateur photographer. He loved off-roading, primitive camping, and hiking and was a fan of the Cleveland Indians and Grateful Dead. He will be remembered for his quick wit and unflagging generosity of spirit; and
Whereas, Mr. Straight was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Mary Straight; and
Whereas, he is survived by his wife, Jane; two dogs, Spaz and Brian; his wife's siblings, Michael (Audrey) Locke, Paul Magnussen, Lisa (Greg) Locke Stevens, Cecelia (Chuck) Magnussen Benson, Brenda (Garth) Locke McGlasson, and Pamela (Jim) Magnussen Hoyt; and many nieces and nephews; and
