TO CONGRATULATE ABBEY FABICK AND NELS RUDE ON THE OCCASION OF THEIR WEDDING AND TO WISH THEM MUCH HAPPINESS IN THE DAYS AHEAD.
Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate are pleased to learn that Abbey Fabick and Nels Rude celebrated this important milestone on March 13, 2022; and
Whereas, Abbey and Nels met while staffing the campaign of Wisconsin State Representative Nancy VanderMeer in 2014 in Tomah, Wisconsin; and
Whereas, both Abbey and Nels have dedicated more than a decade of their lives to working in and around government, serving State Representative Lee Nerison, State Representative Warren Petryk, State Representative John Nygren and Speaker Robin Vos; and
Whereas, in October of 2020, Nels proposed to Abbey and their search for the perfect wedding location began; and
Whereas, on March 13, 2022 they promised their love for each other in front of family and friends at The Creek Club at I'On in beautiful Mount Pleasant; and
Whereas, the South Carolina Senate takes great pleasure in honoring Abbey Fabick and Nels Rude at the celebration of their wedding and is pleased to join with their family and friends in congratulating them. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, congratulate Abbey Fabick and Nels Rude on the occasion of their wedding and wish them much happiness in the days ahead.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Abbey Fabick and Nels Rude.
