TO RECOGNIZE AND HONOR SERGEANT JEFFREY SAMUEL "JEFF" GRAHAM OF THE GREENWOOD COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE UPON THE OCCASION OF HIS RETIREMENT AFTER TWENTY-FIVE YEARS OF OUTSTANDING SERVICE, AND TO WISH HIM CONTINUED SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS IN ALL HIS FUTURE ENDEAVORS.
Whereas, the South Carolina House of Representatives is pleased to learn that Sergeant Jeff Graham will begin a well-deserved retirement after a quarter of a century with the Greenwood County Sheriff's Office on February 3, 2022; and
Whereas, born in Greenwood, Jeff Graham graduated from Ninety Six High School and furthered his education at Piedmont Technical College and Lander University; and
Whereas, during his twenty-five years at the Greenwood County Sheriff's Office, he worked for two years at the detention center and eleven years in the Uniform Patrol Division; and
Whereas, Sergeant Graham, kind-hearted and patient, served three years in the Criminal Investigations Division, one year in the Narcotics Unit, and eight years in the Support Services Division; and
Whereas, most recently he has been responsible for the Sex Offender Registry, public information, and pre-employment background checks, and he has served as the digital media coordinator and with mental-health transports; and
Whereas, during Sergeant Graham's two and a half decades, he served sixteen years with the Bloodhound Tracking Team and six years with SWAT; and
Whereas, he and his beloved wife, Angie Davis Graham, have been married since September 17, 2012, and he attends the Church of God in Ninety Six; and
Whereas, when not protecting the citizens of our great State, Sergeant Graham enjoys fishing, traveling, spending time with family, and being with his children: Garrett Graham, Ashlen Sinnott, and Schanen Sinnott; and
Whereas, in his retirement, he plans to begin a second career with a local business in the private sector; and
Whereas, grateful for Sergeant Graham's many years of dedicated service to the Greenwood County Sheriff's Office, the South Carolina House of Representatives takes great pleasure in extending best wishes to him as he transitions to a richly deserved retirement in the days ahead. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, recognize and honor Sergeant Jeffrey Samuel "Jeff" Graham of the Greenwood County Sheriff's Office upon the occasion of his retirement after twenty-five years of outstanding service, and wish him continued success and happiness in all his future endeavors.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Sergeant Jeffrey Samuel "Jeff" Graham.
