Whereas, on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, NC, the SC State women's tennis team defeated Howard 4-0 to clinch the 2022 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women's Tennis Championship title; and

Whereas, to add glitter to an already lustrous victory, Nalanda Silva was selected to receive the tournament's Outstanding Performer award, while Coach Hardeep Judge was once again named as recipient of the Outstanding Coach award. In addition, All-Tournament Team honors went to Lasya Patnaik and Nalanda Silva (doubles), Teodora Vujicic and Anabel Aguilar (doubles), Lasya Patnaik (singles), Nalanda Silva (singles), and Ikram Rassif (singles); and
Whereas, Coach Hardeep Judge, rightly proud of his team, has instilled a standard of excellence in his athletes that will serve them well throughout their lives, both on and off the court; and
