VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
A bill
to amend the South Carolina Code of Laws by amending Section 12-36-510, relating to retail license requirements, so as to provide that a retailer shall submit certain information to the department about whether it sells certain products used for smoking.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 12-36-510 of the S.C. Code is amended by adding a subsection to read:
(E) A retailer shall submit information about whether or not it sells tobacco, tobacco products, vape products, or any other product used for smoking with its retail license application. Additionally, a retailer shall update this information annually with the department.
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
