A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE Department of Natural Resources, RELATING TO Use of Electric-Assisted Bicycles (e-bikes) in Certain Areas of SCDNR-Owned and SCDNR-Managed Lands, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 5166, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1.   The regulations of the Department of Natural Resources, relating to Use of Electric-Assisted Bicycles (e-bikes) in Certain Areas of SCDNR-Owned and SCDNR-Managed Lands, designated as Regulation Document Number 5166, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the S.C. Code, are approved.

SECTION 2.   This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is proposing to amend Regulation 123-203 pertaining to use of Wildlife Management Areas, Heritage Preserves, and other lands owned by the Department. The following is a section-by-section discussion of the proposed changes.
