VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
A bill
TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ADDING SECTION 50-11-39 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT IT IS UNLAWFUL TO HUNT MIGRATORY WATERFOWL within two hundred yards of a dwelling ON LITTLE RIVER, off of lake thurmond, without written permission of the owner and occupant.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Article 1, Chapter 11, Title 50 of the S.C. Code is amended by adding:
Section 50-11-39. It is unlawful to hunt migratory waterfowl within two hundred yards of a dwelling on Little River, off of Lake Thurmond, without written permission of the owner and occupant. A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, must be fined not more than two hundred dollars or imprisoned not more than thirty days, or both.
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
