A house RESOLUTION
To honor Pastor Rosavelt Copeland for the many years of service he has given to his church and community.

Whereas, Pastor Copeland has pursued many passions in life. He began his career by joining the United States Marine Corps after graduating from Chapman High School. After his service, he went on to become a successful car salesman. As a pastor, he is best known for his ability to recite Bible scripture and his sermons from memory; and
Whereas, when he isn't counseling, conducting funerals, or visiting the sick and shut-in, Pastor Copeland enjoys walking and spending time with his family. He is married to Vanisha Dawkins Copeland, and together they have four children and four grandchildren; and
Whereas, the South Carolina House of Representatives is honored to recognize someone as dedicated to his faith and community as Pastor Copeland. The members thank him for his contributions and wish him much happiness in the days ahead. Now, therefore,
