A senate RESOLUTION

 

TO CONGRATULATE GABRIELLE "GABBY" MILLER FOR her achievements as student body president of sumter high school.

 

Whereas, the South Carolina Senate is pleased to recognize Gabrielle "Gabby" Miller as the student body president of Sumter High School; and

 

Whereas, during the 2023-2024 school year, Gabrielle has served as student body president, key club president, basketball manager for the Lady Gamecocks, and member of several other school organizations; and

 

Whereas, from a young age, Gabrielle has been involved in gymnastics, modeling, and academic extracurriculars. Her many interests and activities require her to meet deadlines consistently while maintaining her high standards; and

 

Whereas, now a high school senior taking on diverse leadership roles, Gabrielle values being a voice for her peers. These responsibilities and time commitments, though vast and varied, have molded her perception and appreciation for high school; and

 

Whereas, Gabrielle plans to major in health care administration in college, aspiring to transfer her devoted involvement in high school to a college campus; and

 

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate are grateful for Gabrielle's dedicated service to the people and the State of South Carolina and take great pleasure in saluting her for her accomplishments as student body president of Sumter High School.  Now, therefore,

 

Be it resolved by the Senate:

 

That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, congratulate Gabrielle "Gabby" Miller for her achievements as student body president of Sumter High School.

 

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Gabrielle Miller.
