NO. 11
REGULAR SESSION BEGINNING TUESDAY, JANUARY 10, 2023
________
The House assembled at 12:00 noon.
Deliberations were opened with prayer by Rev. Charles E. Seastrunk, Jr., as follows:
Our thought for today is from Isaiah 26:4: "Trust in the Lord forever, for in the Lord God you have an everlasting rock."
Let us pray. Thank You Lord for the joy You give us as Your children. Help us to serve others as You so joyfully serve others as You keep us safe. Give us faith that You will care for us as Your dear children. Protect and defend us from all evil. Guide each of these Representatives, Staff, and those who carry heavy burdens in their life and families. We offer our prayers to those who serve, suffer, and some who give of their all to keep us safe. Bless our World, Nation, President, State, Governor, Speaker, Staff, and all who are free to do Your will in this place. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayers. Amen.
Pursuant to Rule 6.3, the House of Representatives was led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America by the SPEAKER.
After corrections to the Journal of the proceedings of Friday, the SPEAKER ordered it confirmed.
