REGULAR SESSION BEGINNING TUESDAY, JANUARY 10, 2023
________
The House assembled at 10:00 a.m.
Deliberations were opened with prayer by Rev. Charles E. Seastrunk, Jr., as follows:
Our thought for today is from Psalm 148:1: "Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise him in the heights. Praise him, all angels; praise him, all his host."
Let us pray. We give You thanks and praise for all the great things You have provided for these women and men who give of their time and effort to make everything work to give the people of our State the very best. We give thanks for our defenders of freedom and first responders who care and protect us. Look in favor upon our World, Nation, President, State, Governor, Speaker, Staff, and all who give of their time and talent and effort for the good of this State and Nation. Bless and keep our members of our Armed Forces safe and out of harm's way. Bless our women and men who suffer from hidden wounds. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayers. Amen.
