A senate RESOLUTION

 

TO HONOR Bishop Simeon A. Moultrie on the occasion of his elevation and to RECOGNIZE Wednesday, January 31, 2024, AS "Bishop simeon A. Moultrie Day" IN SOUTH CAROLINA.

 

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate are pleased to honor Bishop Simeon A. Moultrie on the occasion of his elevation to the office of Bishop of The Brook and The Brook Fellowship on Wednesday, January 31, 2024; and

 

Whereas, Bishop Moultrie was first installed as Pastor of The Brook in 2011 and has since fervently equipped the body of Christ to believe, belong, and become. He provides strong leadership to help improve and enrich The Brook church family; and

 

Whereas, under his guidance, the church body was blessed to move into a new church home in 2016; and

 

Whereas, Bishop Moultrie believes that the church must serve the community through faith and unwavering love. He leads the members of The Brook by dynamic and humble example; and

 

Whereas, the members of the church body of The Brook are proud to call Bishop Moultrie pastor, leader, and friend and look forward to his continued spiritual guidance as bishop.  Now, therefore,

 

Be it resolved by the Senate:

 

That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, honor Bishop Simeon A. Moultrie on the occasion of his elevation and recognize Wednesday, January 31, 2024 as "Bishop Simeon A. Moultrie Day" in South Carolina.

 

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Bishop Simeon A. Moultrie.
