The Legislative Council and the Code Commissioner have determined that Volume 13A is appropriate for revision. Section 2-13-90 of the S.C. Code also provides that the revised volumes must be submitted to the General Assembly for its consideration.
The bill provides approval from the General Assembly for the revised Volume 13A. Revising the Code of Laws is in the normal course of business for Legislative Council and will be accomplished with existing staff and resources. Therefore, the bill is not expected to impact expenditures.
