This bill designates the first Monday of March of each year as "Water Professionals Day." This bill does not operationally or fiscally impact state agencies, and therefore, will have no fiscal impact.

A bill

 

TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ADDING SECTION 53-3-270 SO AS TO DECLARE THE FIRST MONDAY OF MARCH OF EACH YEAR AS "WATER PROFESSIONALS DAY".

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

 

SECTION 1.  Chapter 3, Title 53 of the S.C. Code is amended by adding:

 

    Section 53-3-270.  The first Monday of March of each year is designated as "Water Professionals Day" in South Carolina.

 

SECTION 2.  This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
