TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ADDING article 22 to chapter 23, title 57 so as to designate a portion of south carolina highway 11 in greenville county as "dean stuart campbell, squire of the dark scenic memorial byway".

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1.   Chapter 23, Title 57 of the S.C. Code is amended by adding:

   Article 22

   Dean Stuart Campbell, Squire of the Dark Corner Scenic Memorial Byway

   Section 57-23-1200.   (A) That portion of South Carolina Highway 11 from its junction with Tugaloo and Smith roads to the intersection with South Carolina Highway 14 in Greenville County is designated as "Dean Stuart Campbell, Squire of the Dark Corner Scenic Memorial Byway".

   (B) The Dean Stuart Campbell, Squire of the Dark Corner Scenic Memorial Byway is subject to the regulations promulgated by the South Carolina Department of Transportation and the South Carolina Scenic Highways Committee.

   (C) The Department of Transportation shall install markers or signs to implement this designation.

SECTION 2.   This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
