A house RESOLUTION

 

TO CONGRATULATE Ms. Rhuebell heatley jones OF st. matthews ON THE OCCASION OF HER 100TH BIRTHDAY AND commemorate her special day with heartfelt appreciation for her life, her legacy, and her enduring impact.

 

Whereas, Rhuebell Heatley Jones was born on February 15, 1925, in St. Matthews; and

 

Whereas, Rhuebell has dedicated her life to her family, friends, and community, exemplifying the values of love, resilience, and kindness; and

 

Whereas, throughout her one hundred years, Rhuebell has witnessed and embraced significant historical changes, not only in her local community but also across the nation and the world; and

 

Whereas, Rhuebell has shown remarkable strength and vitality, serving as an inspiration to all who know her; and

 

Whereas, on February 15, 2025, family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate the extraordinary life of Rhuebell Heatley Jones at the John Ford Center in St. Matthews; and

 

Whereas, February 15, 2025, shall be a day of recognition, joy, and celebration in honor of Rhuebell Heatley Jones, as her loved ones reflect on the many memories, achievements, and love that she has shared throughout the years; and

 

Whereas, this milestone is a testament to her remarkable journey, unwavering spirit, and immeasurable contributions to her family, friends, and community. Now, therefore,

 

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

 

That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, congratulate Ms. Rhuebell Heatley Jones of St. Matthews on the occasion of her 100th birthday and commemorate her special day with heartfelt appreciation for her life, her legacy, and her enduring impact.

 

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Ms. Rhuebell Heatley Jones.
