To whom was referred a Bill (H. 4002) to devolve all of the powers, duties, responsibilities, assets, and liabilities of the Greater Greenville Sanitation District to the governing body of Greenville, etc., respectfully

A bill
TO DEVOLVE ALL of THE POWERS, DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, ASSETS, AND LIABILITIES OF THE GREATER GREENVILLE SANITATION DISTRICT TO THE GOVERNING BODY OF GREENVILLE COUNTY; AND TO REPEAL ACT 1543 OF 1968, as amended, RELATING TO THE CREATION OF THE GREATER GREENVILLE SANITATION DISTRICT.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. (A) The powers, duties, responsibilities, assets, and liabilities of the Greater Greenville Sanitation District are transferred and devolved upon the governing body of Greenville County.
(B) The chairmen of the commission and the governing body shall cooperate with one another in executing all documents necessary to effectuate the transfer of all powers, duties, responsibilities, assets, and liabilities required by this act.
SECTION 2. Act 1543 of 1968, as amended, is repealed.
SECTION 3. This act takes effect on July 1, 2025.
