A house RESOLUTION

 

TO RECOGNIZE AND HONOR Captain Bryan Andrew Yale, United states Air Force, UPON THE OCCASION OF HIS RETIREMENT AFTER YEARS OF OUTSTANDING SERVICE, AND TO WISH HIM CONTINUED SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS IN ALL HIS FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

 

Whereas, the South Carolina House of Representatives recognizes and honors the exceptional dedication, service, and sacrifice of those who have served in the United States Armed Forces; and

 

Whereas, Captain Bryan Andrew Yale retired from the United States Air Force on December 19, 2024, following a distinguished military career marked by professionalism, leadership, and commitment to the defense of our nation; and

 

Whereas, Captain Yale began his service after his junior year of high school, enlisting in the United States Air Force to afford college and gain lifelong skills. His journey commenced with basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, followed by technical school at Fort Meade, Maryland, before being stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, for four years; and

 

Whereas, during his first decade of service, Captain Yale served as a broadcast journalist, using his talents to support military communications and public affairs, strengthening the connection between service members and the public; and

 

Whereas, demonstrating exceptional dedication and leadership, he commissioned as an officer at his ten-year mark at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama, and transitioned into the role of Financial Services Officer, ensuring responsible financial management and support for Air Force personnel for four years; and

 

Whereas, his service continued in leadership as a Flight Commander and Liaison Officer for the Civil Air Patrol, where for six years he mentored, trained, and supported the next generation of Air Force leaders and volunteers, reinforcing the critical role of aerospace education and emergency services; and

 

Whereas, throughout his career, Captain Yale was stationed at multiple bases, including Florida Air National Guard in Jacksonville, Homestead Air Reserve Base in Florida, and McEntire Joint National Guard Base in South Carolina, at each assignment demonstrating his unwavering commitment to the defense of our nation; and

 

Whereas, Captain Yale's exemplary service, spanning over two decades, embodies the highest ideals of duty, honor, and patriotism, leaving a lasting impact on those he led and served alongside; and

 

Whereas, on behalf of the citizens of this great State, the South Carolina House of Representatives expresses its sincere gratitude to Bryan Yale for his years of dedicated service, and the members wish him and his family continued success, health, and happiness in his well-deserved retirement. Now, therefore,

 

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

 

That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, recognize and honor Captain Bryan Andrew Yale, United States Air Force, upon the occasion of his retirement after years of outstanding service, and wish him continued success and happiness in all his future endeavors.

 

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Captain Bryan Andrew Yale.
