A senate RESOLUTION

 

TO RECOGNIZE AND HONOR gallo for BEING A MANUFACTURING COMPANY THAT BRINGS GREAT PRIDE TO THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA.

 

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate are pleased to recognize Gallo for its contributions to the manufacturing landscape of South Carolina; and

 

Whereas, Gallo is a manufacturer located in Fort Lawn. The company has been in operation in South Carolina since 2022; and

 

Whereas, Gallo produces High Noon Sun Sips, a vodka and tequila-based seltzer made with real fruit juice and sparkling water, delivering a refreshing and high-quality beverage experience; and

 

Whereas, Gallo's Fort Lawn facility is home to a dedicated workforce of three hundred fifty employees, contributing to the production and innovation of industry-leading beverage products; and

 

Whereas, since its opening, the facility has achieved significant manufacturing milestones, including the October 2022 grand opening of its warehouse, the production of its first High Noon can in February 2023, and the launch of its first bottle of 50ml New Amsterdam Vodka in July 2023. Additional expansions include the initiation of a PET Flask Line in October 2024 and the anticipated first brandy run in April 2025, demonstrating Gallo's continued growth and investment in South Carolina; and

 

Whereas, Gallo's Fort Lawn facility operates at remarkable efficiency, producing one thousand cans per minute and offering a variety of twenty different flavors, including High Noon Tequila. The facility's High Noon storage tanks can hold over six million cans; and

 

Whereas, Gallo is deeply committed to giving back to the community through extensive philanthropic efforts, including donating microwaves to local community centers, providing HVAC repairs and painting services for a children's home, and engaging in community initiatives such as mental health walks, canned food drives, and volunteer work; and

 

Whereas, Gallo fosters a strong workplace culture through initiatives such as Thirsty Thursdays, family events, cookouts, the Gallo Time Capsule, and seasonal celebrations like Galloween, Fall Festival, and a Holiday Case Giveaway, enriching the lives of its employees and the surrounding community; and

 

Whereas, there are more than six thousand manufacturing facilities in South Carolina, all producing world-class products. Gallo was nominated and advanced to the Top Four round in the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance's 2025 Manufacturing Madness: The Coolest Thing Made in SC contest, standing out among over one hundred fifty nominated products; and

 

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate greatly appreciate the dedication and commitment that Gallo has shown in serving the people and the State of South Carolina.  Now, therefore,

 

Be it resolved by the Senate:

 

That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, recognize and honor Gallo for being a manufacturing company that brings great pride to the State of South Carolina.

 

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to the CEO of Gallo, Ernest Gallo.
