A senate RESOLUTION

 

TO CONGRATULATE the Tribble Center UPON THE OCCASION OF ITS fiftieth ANNIVERSARY AND TO COMMEND the center FOR ITS MANY YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE PEOPLE AND THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA.

 

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate are pleased to recognize the Tribble Center as it celebrates this important milestone; and

 

Whereas, the Tribble Center is a non-profit agency that is dedicated to improving the lives of advocates with disabilities and special needs. The center's mission is to provide comprehensive, person-centered services that promote independence, inclusion, and self-determination; and

 

Whereas, the Tribble Center's team of experienced professionals is passionate about what they do and is dedicated to providing the highest level of support to their advocates and their families; and

 

Whereas, the Tribble Center provides residential services, including training to increase independence, medicine administration, community activities, and twenty-four-hour support. They also provide adult day activity services, which provide training in functional academics, daily living skills, arts and crafts, exercise and leisure activities, outdoor activities, and other assistance; and

 

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate greatly appreciate the dedication and commitment of the staff and administration of the Tribble Center to serving the people and the State of South Carolina.  Now, therefore,

 

Be it resolved by the Senate:

 

That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, congratulate the Tribble Center upon the occasion of its fiftieth anniversary and commend the center for its many years of dedicated service to the people and the State of South Carolina.

 

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to the Tribble Center's chair, Renee Woodall, vice-chair, Mike McNulty, and executive director, Meloney Stokes.
