Whereas, Dr. Charlie W. Timmerman showed unmatched curiosity, warmth, generosity, and compassion to countless animals and their owners during his fifty-five plus years as a veterinarian. His commitment to advancing veterinary medicine kept him at the forefront of innovative procedures and breakthroughs. He was delighted with the news of Clemson University's new Peeler College of Veterinary Medicine; and

Whereas, Dr. Timmerman's passion for life extended well beyond his career. He was a proud and loyal Clemson sports fan, an avid bird hunter, golfer, and traveler. His adventurous spirit was fortified by his deep faith, as he found purpose and peace in prayer. He never missed an opportunity to share God's love and spread the good news of Salvation through Jesus Christ; and

Whereas, born in Edgefield County on March 19, 1944, he was a son of Ransom Carroll and Ruby Mae Cogburn Timmerman. He earned his bachelor's degree from Clemson University and furthered his education at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. His proudest roles were as husband to his beloved wife, Colleen Kneece Timmerman, father to his children, Charleen Timmerman Fitzgerald and Charlie Warren Timmerman, Jr., and grandfather to Haley and Kesler Fitzgerald and Lily Timmerman. Dr. Timmerman passed away on February 25, 2025, leaving behind a legacy that will echo for generations; and

Whereas, with a life well-lived in service to God, family, and community, it is only fitting and proper that Dr. Charlie W. Timmerman's legacy be honored with a road in Aiken County named in his memory. Now, therefore,
