The Chamber of the House of Representatives

The House of Representatives Chamber was completely renovated during the State House renovation of 1995-1998.  The desk, constructed in 1937, is made of British Honduras mahogany.  The brass balcony railing as well as the wood coffered ceiling and brackets under the balcony date back to 1887.  The State House renovation added state-of-the-art technology to the Chamber including laptop computers on House Member desks.
