A Joint Resolution to amend Joint Resolution 152 of 1983 which proposes certain amendments to Article V of the Constitution of this State relating to the Judicial Department, so as to delete proposed changes to Article V which would establish a Judicial Commission to be the sole authority to promulgate rules of practice and procedure for the Unified Judicial System, to reinstate provisions which authorize the Supreme Court subject to the statutory law to make rules governing the practice and procedure for the courts of this State, and to delete proposed changes to Article V which would provide that the General Assembly may designate that appeals from certain cases of equity excluding matters of juvenile misconduct shall be on matters of law only.
