Summary: General Assembly joint session elections
    A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 2-20-80 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT WHENEVER AN ELECTION IS TO BE HELD BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN JOINT SESSION, EXCEPT FOR MEMBERS OF THE JUDICIARY, THE VOTE OF A MEMBER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES SHALL COUNT AS ONE VOTE AND THE VOTE OF A MEMBER OF THE SENATE SHALL COUNT AS TWO AND SEVEN-TENTHS VOTES.
