Summary: Law enforcement officers
    AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 23-1-210, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE TEMPORARY TRANSFER OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT ANY MUNICIPAL OR COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER MAY BE TRANSFERRED OR ASSIGNED ON A TEMPORARY BASIS TO WORK WITHIN MULTI-JURISDICTIONAL TASK FORCES ESTABLISHED FOR THE MUTUAL AID AND BENEFIT OF THE PARTICIPATING JURISDICTIONS; AND TO AMEND SECTION 23-1-215, RELATING TO AGREEMENTS BETWEEN MULTIPLE LAW ENFORCEMENT JURISDICTIONS FOR THE PURPOSE OF CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT IN THE EVENT OF A CRIME OR CRIMES THAT HAVE OCCURRED WHERE MULTIPLE JURISDICTIONS ARE INVOLVED, LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS ARE AUTHORIZED TO EXERCISE JURISDICTION WITHIN OTHER COUNTIES OR MUNICIPALITIES FOR PURPOSES OF THE CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS. - ratified title
