Summary: County boards registration and election
A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY AMENDING SECTION 7-5-10 RELATING TO COUNTY BOARDS REGISTRATION AND ELECTION, TO REQUIRE THAT THE CHAIRMAN BE APPOINTED BY THE GOVERNOR UPON RECOMMENDATION OF THE COUNTY LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION; AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE APPOINTED CHAIRMAN SHALL CONTINUE TO SERVE UNTIL HIS SUCCESSOR IS APPOINTED AND QUALIFIED.
