    A Bill to amend Section 50-17-2110, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to taking shad, so as to allow the use of gill nets for taking shad in the Santee River and its tributaries upstream from S.C. Highway 41 to S.C. Highway 52 two days a week during the shad season and to empower the Executive Director of the Wildlife and Marine Resources Department to prohibit the use of gill nets in the area if he determines that it is hazardous to striped bass fishery.
