Summary: Private pond owners not liable when no trespassing signs visible
    A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 50-1-93 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE OWNER OF A PRIVATE POND WHO HAS POSTED HIS PROPERTY WITH CLEARLY VISIBLE SIGNS PROHIBITING TRESPASSING UPON THE PREMISES MAY NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY SUSTAINED BY A PERSON WHO WAS TRESPASSING ON THE PROPERTY AT THE TIME OF THE INJURY.
