H 3490 General Bill, By J.C. Johnson, Carnell, M.J. Cooper and J.G. McAbee
    A Bill to amend Article 3, Chapter 37, Title 12, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to property tax exemptions, by adding Section 12-37-251 so as to provide any person who meets the qualifications for a homestead exemption but owns his dwelling place together with at least one other person, not his spouse, who does not meet these qualifications is entitled to a homestead exemption thereon in a certain percentage.
