    A Bill to abolish the Pickens County Board of Education and the office of the Pickens County Superintendent of Education and to devolve the respective duties upon the trustees for the Pickens County School District; to amend Act 811 of 1978, as amended, relating to the creation of the Sinking Fund Commission for the School District of Pickens County, so as to substitute the County Administrator for the Superintendent of Education as a member of the Commission; to provide that the employment contract of the Superintendent of Education appointed by the Board of Trustees of Pickens County must be for a period no longer than two years; to provide that the salary of the Superintendent of Education appointed by the Board of Trustees of Pickens County may not exceed the salary of the State Superintendent of Education; and to provide that each member of the Board of Trustees of Pickens County shall receive fifty dollars per month to reimburse them for their expenses incurred in the performance of their official duties.-amended title
