    A Bill to reauthorize the existence of the South Carolina State Board of Funeral Service for six years; to amend Sections 40-19-20, 40-19-100, 40-19-170, and 40-19-190, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to embalmers and funeral directors, so as to decrease the number of members of the South Carolina State Board of Funeral Service from eleven to nine and to change the method for their appointment, to change qualifications for licensure, to provide penalties for violations, and to prohibit licensees from serving as coroners; to exempt businesses licensed to provide funeral service before January 1, 1984, from facility requirements; and to repeal Section 40-19-230 relating to parking space requirements.
