    A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 59-52-155 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT HOME ECONOMICS AND RELATED COURSES INCLUDING CONSUMER EDUCATION, FOOD SCIENCES, CHILD CARE, AND FAMILY HEALTH SHALL BE CONSIDERED TO BE OCCUPATIONAL RATHER THAN NONOCCUPATIONAL COURSES FOR PURPOSES OF THE SCHOOL-TO-WORK TRANSITION ACT AND THE GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS OF THE TECH-PREP PROGRAM OF STUDY.
