Summary: Beach quality sand excavated in this state to be used for renourishment of S.C. beaches and not Georgia, declared public policy of this state
    A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT IT IS THE PUBLIC POLICY OF THIS STATE THAT ALL BEACH QUALITY SAND EXCAVATED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THIS STATE FOR IMPROVING THE HARBOR CHANNEL AND TURNING BASIN FACILITIES IN THE SAVANNAH RIVER BE TRANSPORTED TO AND USED TO RENOURISH THE PUBLIC BEACHES OF THIS STATE AND TO FURTHER DECLARE THAT IT IS THE PUBLIC POLICY OF THIS STATE THAT APPROPRIATE STATE AGENCIES WORK TO PREVENT THE USE OF THIS BEACH QUALITY SAND EXCAVATED IN THIS STATE FROM BEING USED TO RENOURISH GEORGIA BEACHES.
