    A Bill to amend Chapter 37, Title 40, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to optometrists, by adding Section 40-37-105 so as to permit optometrists to topically apply certain pharmaceutical agents to the eye for diagnostic purposes and to prescribe the training and certification requirements that an optometrist must meet in order to apply such pharmaceutical agents to the eye and to amend Chapter 43 of Title 40, relating to pharmacists, by adding Section 40-43-155 so as to authorize registered pharmacists to sell certain pharmaceutical agents to optometrists who are certified to purchase and use such agents.
