    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 9-9-40(3) OF THE 1976 CODE, RELATING TO THE RETIREMENT SYSTEM FOR MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, TO PROVIDE THAT A MEMBER OF THE RETIREMENT SYSTEM FOR MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY WHOSE EMPLOYMENT IMMEDIATELY PRIOR TO RETIREMENT IS COVERED BY A CORRELATED SYSTEM MUST RECEIVE RETIREMENT BENEFITS IN THE AMOUNTS AS DETERMINED UNDER THE CORRELATED SYSTEM.
