Summary: Law enforcement chaplains
    A BILL TO AMEND CHAPTER 1, TITLE 23 OF THE 1976 CODE, RELATING TO GENERAL PROVISIONS CONCERNING LAW ENFORCEMENT AND PUBLIC SAFETY; BY ADDING SECTION 23-1-240, TO PROVIDE THAT LAW ENFORCEMENT CHAPLAINS WITH A VALID CONCEALED WEAPONS PERMIT MAY BE AUTHORIZED TO CARRY A WEAPON IN THE SAME MANNER AND WITH THE SAME RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES AS A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER; TO PROVIDE FOR THE REVOCATION OF THAT AUTHORIZATION; AND TO PROVIDE THAT REVOCATION OF AUTHORIZATION DOES NOT CONSTITUTE REVOCATION OF THE CHAPLAIN'S CONCEALED WEAPONS PERMIT.
