AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-320, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO VOTING PRECINCTS IN HORRY COUNTY, SO AS TO REDESIGNATE THESE PRECINCTS, DESIGNATE A MAP NUMBER ON WHICH LINES OF THESE PRECINCTS ARE DELINEATED, AND PROVIDE THAT POLLING PLACES FOR THESE PRECINCTS MUST BE DETERMINED BY THE HORRY COUNTY BOARD OF REGISTRATION AND ELECTIONS WITH THE APPROVAL OF A MAJORITY OF THE HORRY COUNTY LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Voting precincts in Horry County, polling places
SECTION 1. Section 7-7-320 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 383 of 1987, is further amended to read:
"Section 7-7-320. (A) In Horry County there are the following voting precincts:

(B) The precinct lines defining the above precincts are as shown on maps filed with the clerk of court of the county and also on file with the State Election Commission as provided and maintained by the Division of Research and Statistical Services of the State Budget and Control Board designated as document P-5199.
(C) The polling places for the precincts listed in subsection (A) must be determined by the Horry County Board of Registration and Elections with the approval of a majority of the Horry County Legislative Delegation."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 23rd day of February, 2000.
Approved the 25th day of February, 2000.
