A BILL

TO PROVIDE THAT THE RICHLAND COUNTY LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION MAY BY DELEGATION RESOLUTION DEVOLVE THE GOVERNOR'S AUTHORITY TO MAKE APPOINTMENTS TO THE RICHLAND COUNTY RECREATION COMMISSION TO THE GOVERNING BODY OF RICHLAND COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Notwithstanding another provision of law, the Richland County Legislative Delegation may by delegation resolution devolve the Governor's authority to make appointments to the Richland County Recreation Commission to the governing body of Richland County.

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
