H 3840 General Bill, By J.H. Hodges
    A Bill to amend Section 16-13-180, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the offense of receiving stolen property, so as to raise from one hundred to two hundred dollars the value of stolen goods received for cases triable in magistrates' courts, to provide specific penalties for convictions of first, second, and third and subsequent offenses of receiving stolen property valued at more than two hundred dollars and to provide that the minimum sentence of imprisonment for a third offense and subsequent conviction may not be suspended.
