AN ACT TO DIRECT THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO CLOSE AND REMOVE FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM ROAD S-13-153 IN CHESTERFIELD COUNTY.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Road closed
SECTION 1. The Department of Highways and Public Transportation shall close and remove from the state highway system in Chesterfield County Road S-13-153, a dirt road maintained by the State on which no one lives.
After closing of the roadway described above, the owners of the affected property may erect appropriate gates and signs on their side or sides of the closed roadway.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
