A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING COUNCIL (SOUTH CAROLINA CRIMINAL JUSTICE ACADEMY), RELATING TO JUVENILE TRAINING OFFICERS, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 1446, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The regulations of the Law Enforcement Training Council (South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy), relating to juvenile training officers, designated as Regulation Document Number 1446, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.

SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

R.38-130 B.(4) creates a new class for law enforcement officers employed by the Department of Youth Services. R.38-210 C.(4) creates the continuing law enforcement education requirements for law enforcement officers employed by the Department of Youth Services.
