TO AMEND ACT 1005 OF 1964, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE NORTH SPARTANBURG AREA FIRE AND RESCUE DISTRICT, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE DISTRICT MAY BORROW WITHOUT LIMITATION IN ANTICIPATION OF TAXES.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Item (h), Section 3 of Act 1005 of 1964, as last amended by Act 1108 of 1974, is further amended to read:
"(h) To borrow not exceeding fifty thousand dollars without limitation on such those terms and for such a that period as to the fire and rescue control board may seem most beneficial for the fire and rescue district in anticipation of taxes. The indebtedness shall must be evidenced by a note issued by the members of the board and the county treasurer. The full faith, credit, and taxing power of the North Spartanburg Area Fire and Rescue District is hereby pledged for the payment of the indebtedness."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
