TO PROVIDE THAT THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION SHALL STUDY THE FEASIBILITY OF USING EXISTING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS AS A METHOD FOR PROVIDING SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION AND SHALL REPORT ITS FINDINGS TO THE APPROPRIATE STANDING COMMITTEES OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY NOT LATER THAN JULY 1, 1993.
Amend Title To Conform
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The State Department of Education shall study the feasibility of using existing public transportation systems as a method for providing school transportation and shall report its findings to the appropriate standing committees of the General Assembly not later than July 1, 1994.
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
