TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 50-21-138 SO AS TO ESTABLISH A NO WAKE ZONE IN CHARLESTON COUNTY.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 50-21-138. There is established a no wake zone to begin at the Robert B. Scarborough Bridge in Charleston County to the end of the Wapoo Cut in Wapoo Creek. These boundaries must be marked clearly with signs. The signs must be designed and installed as specified by the department."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
