Whereas, the Eau Claire Shamrocks Boys Basketball Team of Richland County defeated Greer to capture the 1995 State Class AAA Basketball Championship; and

Whereas, led by Coach George Glymph, one of the greatest high school basketball coaches in South Carolina, the Shamrocks have won five state boys basketball championships during the past seven seasons; and
Whereas, the success of the Shamrocks Boys Basketball Team has brought tremendous pride and recognition to Richland County School District 1 and the City of Columbia; and
Whereas, this achievement could not have been possible without the full support of the parents, school administrators, teaching staff, students, and residents of the Eau Claire High School Community. Now, therefore,
