TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 58-17-4096 SO AS TO PROHIBIT TRESPASSING UPON RAILROAD TRACKS AND PROVIDE PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS.
Amend Title To Conform
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 58-17-4096. (A) It is unlawful, without proper authority, for a person to trespass upon railroad tracks.
(B) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, may be fined not more than two hundred dollars or imprisoned not more than thirty days."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
