TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 50-13-390 SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR A SPECIAL GUEST FISHING LICENSE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 50-13-390. (A) A special guest fishing license for an annual fee of fifty dollars may be issued by the department only to the owner or lessee of private property bordering inland fishing waters or bordering joint fishing waters, including public mountain trout waters, and entitles persons to fish from the shore, from a pier or dock originating from the property, or within one hundred feet of either side of the pier or dock without an additional fishing license.
(B) The special license is applicable only to private property and private docks and piers and is not valid for any public property, pier, or dock nor for any private property, pier, or dock operated for a commercial purpose.
(C) The special license is not in force unless displayed on the premises of the property and only entitles fishing without additional license to persons fishing from the licensed property and only when fishing within the private property lines.
(D) The special license is not transferable as to person or location."
