All wise and all knowing God, You know us better than we know ourselves.

Help us, then, to not possess attitudes that are harmful to others:

Deny us anger that we may know the meaning of self control.

Deny us of stinginess that we may know the meaning of generosity.

Take from us all cowardice that we may know the meaning of courage.

Keep us free from hardness that we may practice forgiveness.

Deny us despair and hate that we may enjoy the blessing of hope.

Help us, good Lord, to be good neighbors at all times and always.

Amen.
