TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, LICENSING AND REGULATION, BOARD OF CHIROPRACTIC EXAMINERS, RELATING TO EXAMINATIONS, LICENSES, TESTING, RECORDS, CERTIFICATION CHIROPRACTOR/PATIENT RELATIONSHIP, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 2326, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The regulations of the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, Board of Chiropractic Examiners, relating to examinations, licenses, testing, records, certification chiropractor/patient relationship, designated as Regulation Document Number 2326, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
The Board of Chiropractic Examiners is proposing to update and clarify existing regulations. Revisions are being considered which amend examination review, procedures for applicants applying for license examination, diagnostic and testing procedures, license renewal, patient records, and specialty certification requirements; added is endorsement/reciprocity, volunteer license, waiver of continuing education for medical disability, license posting requirements, and cooling off period for chiropractor/patient relationship.
